In the world of snowboarding it's hard to chose a top three because everyone is different, and bring there own style to the slopes. Whether it be winning at the X-games or making the video part of the year every snowboarder has something different to the table that everyone can appreciate. In any case here are my top 3 greatest snowboarders in no specific order, of 2009.
1) Travis Rice
Travis Rice has pretty much revolutionised the film industry for snowboarding with his new video "That's It That's All". The movie is made over the past three seasons and feature Travis rice as the main rider with tiny guest appearances of other riders like Mark Landvik, Danny Kass, and Jeremy Jones. This is one of the only videos to date that is only focused on one person through out the video. Also Travis has recently won gold at X-games for the big air competition and continues to amaze people with massive backcounty acrobatics.
2) Shaun White
Quite possibly the most famous name in snowboarding, the Burton rider has risen to the top of the podium more than anyone else in the X-games. With several golds under his belt for superpipe and slopestyle it seems that Shaun white is the most dominant competition rider to date with no signs of slowing down soon.
3)Eero Ettala
Eero Ettala is one of the most technical riders coming out of Finland. Eero has been shredding since the age of 11 and is now entering his sixth season as a pro. The style that Eero brings to snowboarding is truly unmatched, and Eero’s bag of tricks runs deep from boned out 1080s over 70-foot gap jumps in the backcountry to lipsliding a 30 set staircase handrail in a night session. He also has placed well in competitions like the Toyota big air in japan and the Burton open in Europe, along with several solid video parts for MDP.

If I had a superpower It would be to have the ability to change the weather. In winter I would make it snow everyday so I could go snowboarding whenever I pleased. As soon as spring comes I would only make it rain at night so I wouldn't be stuck inside during the day. In summer It would be clear blue skies and over 30 degrees. Fall would pretty much be the same as spring except I would make it windier to get rid of all the leaves on the ground.
If I had to confront enemies with my super power I would make a thunder storm and zap them with bolts of lightning, and make tornados to wing them off to somwhere else. The one weakness I would have against most enimies would be that I couldn't use my superpower inside of anywhere to my advantage beacause I can't make the weather change indoors. This would be a drawback It if Had to contain a bank robbery, or deal with a hostage situation.
